For the purposes of this policy:
- Body Therapy Hyperbaric Oxygen and Drug Free Healing Ltd is responsible for marketing information collected in connection with our clinic services, including marketing consent collected through Fresha.
- Body Therapy Vital Ltd is responsible for marketing information collected in connection with our online shop and retail activities.
- Where you subscribe directly to Body Therapy communications through bdytherapy.co.uk, the relevant Body Therapy company will be responsible for your personal information according to the type of communications and services you have chosen to receive.
Both companies operate under the Body Therapy brand and use this policy to explain how newsletter and marketing information is handled.
2. How you can join our mailing list
You may join our mailing list:
- through a newsletter sign-up form on bdytherapy.co.uk; or
- by actively giving your marketing consent through Fresha when booking or using Body Therapy clinic services.
Subscribing to marketing communications is entirely optional.
Marketing consent is not a condition of purchasing products, making a booking or receiving clinic services.

When you actively subscribe through bdytherapy.co.uk, you choose to join the Body Therapy mailing list.

- information about our clinic services and treatments;
- information about products available from our online shop;

Providing your details for another purpose, such as placing an order, making an enquiry or booking an appointment, does not by itself subscribe you to marketing communications.
5. Marketing consent through Fresha
Body Therapy clinic clients may also be given the opportunity to consent to marketing communications through Fresha.
Providing your email address to make an appointment, complete a consultation form or communicate with the clinic does not automatically subscribe you to our marketing mailing list.
We will only use Fresha client details for newsletter and marketing purposes where the client has actively indicated that they wish to receive such communications.
Marketing consent collected through Fresha relates to communications managed by Body Therapy Hyperbaric Oxygen and Drug Free Healing Ltd.
Marketing consent is optional and does not affect your ability to book appointments or receive clinic services.
We may retain information showing when, where and how your marketing consent was obtained in order to maintain an appropriate record of your preferences.
6. Our lawful basis for email marketing
Where you actively subscribe to our newsletter or opt in to marketing communications, we rely on your consent as our lawful basis for processing your personal information for email marketing purposes.
You may withdraw this consent at any time.
7. How we send our newsletters – Brevo
Body Therapy uses Brevo as its email marketing platform.
Where you have subscribed to our newsletter or marketing communications, relevant information such as your name, email address, subscription status and marketing preferences may be transferred to and processed through Brevo.
We use Brevo to:
- maintain our mailing lists;
- manage subscriptions and unsubscribes;
- send newsletters and marketing communications; and
- provide information about the performance of our email communications.
Brevo processes relevant personal information on our behalf as an email marketing service provider.
We do not sell or rent our newsletter subscriber information to third parties.

Transactional and service-related communications are separate from marketing communications and may still be sent where necessary.

- request deletion of your information in certain circumstances;
