Saw palmetto, also known as Serenoa repens, is a small palm tree native to the southeastern United States. It typically grows up to 2 meters in height. In Europe, it is also cultivated as an ornamental plant. However, beyond its appearance, saw palmetto has been recognized in traditional herbal medicine for centuries.
