How to Set Up Your Grounding Rod & Cord:
- Insert the Grounding Rod into the soil, ensuring it’s buried 8″ to 10″ deep.
- Route the cord from the Grounding Rod, passing it through or around a window or door to the area where you’ll use your device.
- Protect the cord by covering it to avoid tripping hazards.
- Attach the prong end of the straight cord to the receptacle on the Grounding Rod cord.
- If you live in dry areas like deserts, occasionally dampen the soil around the Grounding Rod to improve conductivity.
