Once upon a time … that’s how fairy tales begin, but also my reflection…
So, a long, long time ago, when someone was sick… we looked for herbs, we turned to nature, we tried to heal with natural home remedies.
Today we reach for paracetamol, antibiotics, vaccinations. All this leads to jamming our body to its natural methods of reacting, disturbs its proper reaction to the factors that make us sick.
Have you considered that you’ve been taking medication for years, and you are still sick?. So, do drugs heal? Haven’t we adopted the wrong nomenclature?
Because what is treatment today? Long-term medication only masks the symptoms, alleviates our symptoms, but do we get rid of the ailments we are diagnosed with?
Our different thinking begins when someone close to us is ill for a long time. When we hear the diagnosis of a disease that is a so-called chronic disease. But does it have to be like this?
Why ???
Why… Modern medicine has become a determinant and not a support for natural, unconventional medicine? What if the meanings were reversed? Shouldn’t it be the other way around?
After all, modern medicine use to have its source from this. Combining only these two into one and changing the lifestyle, returning to nature is the only path of true healing.
Disturbances in the work of our body, deficiencies, excessive genetic load, toxins and heavy metals, radiation from electrical devices, lack of sleep, lack of contact with nature, exposure to blue light from telephones, laptops and TV, stress, lack of proper hydration, alcohol, cigarettes, diet rich in sugar and processed products.
There can be many reasons. Let’s look for them, let’s be inquisitive, what and when has changed? Time is inexorable. When we’ve been hurting our bodies over the years, we have no right to expect a magic remedy to heal right away. Everything is a process.
It’s amazing when we take drugs that have been prescribed for years, we don’t ask questions when there’s no improvement… When will I be healthy?
Chronic diseases do not appear overnight. We work hard for them for several months and sometimes even years.
What can you do today to break the vicious circle?
Small steps method. Little systematically, introducing changes one by one but over a longer period of time. You won’t feel any big sacrifices, but you will enjoy the joy of taking care of yourself. Smaller goals are easier to achieve. We pay a heavy price for our health, often without realizing it. You probably already know a lot about it and sometimes lack motivation, but we also look for excuses. It’s very human. That’s our nature.
You can do a lot for yourself for free. The price is your perseverance, your attention to yourself, your time devoted to yourself. Only so much and so forth.
A few thoughts for you:
- A glass of warm water slowly drunk after waking up, after brushing your teeth. Warm water will hydrate your body after many hours of not drinking it, much more effectively than cold water. During the night, our body works very hard, especially the digestive system, lymphatic system, kidneys, and liver. They need water to start, right in the morning. Fluoride-free toothpaste, only this one has no effect on the work of our pineal gland.
- Sucking oil in the mouth allows it to collect and trap bacteria found around the gums, pores, and tubules in the teeth. It is also believed that these oil toxins are able to be taken up in the body and then remove when the oil is spat out. You can use coconut, linseed, sunflower oil. Remember to use oils from crops without spraying/certified. Only such will help and will not add toxins to your body.
- Grounding yourself, i.e. walking barefoot on the grass, even for a few minutes a day. Can you enjoy your own garden? In the morning, when the grass is still damp, it is really very pleasant. The cool grass of the additives stimulates the nerves, which are abundant on the feet. If you work at a computer, nothing will relieve your body from the radiation of electronic devices more than touching your feet to the ground.
- Exposing your face to the sun after waking up. Wake up your brain with daylight, let it work, let it produce all the hormones needed for so many biological processes. Don’t fall asleep with your phone screen in front of your eyes and don’t use it right after waking up.
- Walk daily, even 20 minutes of brisk walking if you don’t have time to exercise. Did you know that people who own dogs are less likely to get sick?, Go for a walk. Limit coffee drinking. Or maybe take a break from drinking it for a week. What changes will you notice in yourself? First, drinking coffee on an empty stomach is one of the worst choices for drinking this popular beverage. Remember the description of drinking water above?
- You work in front of the computer for many hours, do not forget about breaks. Get up, open the window, get some air, if only for a few minutes, and if you can, look into the distance so that your eyes can rest from the screen focused for a long time. And most importantly, you would give them a break from the waves emitted by blue light.
- Plan your meals so that they finish no more than 8pm. People who work shifts unfortunately have it difficult, but taking a break of even 12 hours between the last and the first meal can bring a lot of harmony to your body. Intermittent fasting has more and more supporters, but we also know more and more about it. People with diabetes should not use it without consulting a doctor.
- Did you know that drinking with a meal can affect the quality of digestion? Have you heard of the Japanese water diet? It recommends drinking water up to 20 minutes before meals and waiting at least 20 minutes after meals. The longer you take a break after a meal, the better the food will be digested.
- Sleep is the most important part of your recovery. Not only the number of hours you sleep matters, but also their quality and the time at which you fall asleep. Try to go to bed around 10pm, seven or eight hours has a huge impact on how you function the next day. Accumulation of staying up late at night will definitely impact your health in the future. Any chronic disease has a better chance of being defeated if you take care of the regularity of sleep. Two hours before bedtime, it is worth giving up using the TV, computer or telephone, because the blue light emitted by such devices stimulates the brain and disrupts the production of melatonin. And it is this hormone that we need for the proper regeneration of the body. Essential oils for sleep, such as lavender oil, mandarin oil, Roman chamomile oil, can also be helpful. But the most important thing is that the room is well ventilated. Fresh air has a better effect on the quality of sleep.
Allow your mind and body to wonder – what can be good and valued for you.
