How often I should use the Hyperbaric Oxygen Chamber and how many sessions is good in my case?

That question, I can hear every time when a new customer comes. If there is nothing specifically wrong, no symptoms or disease that you’re necessarily working on, and you just wanted to try for your curiosity?

Then try a few times at a regular time, at least 3–5 sessions. Most physiological benefits will begin within the first few sessions of HBOT. It has been well documented that the anti-oxidant and protective role of HBOT is immediate and demonstrated within 24 hours of just one hyperbaric session. But there is no real answer for it at all.

It depends on…

It depends on so many conditions… What goals you wish to see in your health, what condition your body is in now, do you have stress, are you over working, how many hours you sleep, what is your diet etc… Even when you are healthy, not worried with any issues, you will still see some benefits, this may be different in each case, as we are all different. So it depends on your goals. As a genetic recommendation I would say, it is good to create a small protocol of 10 sessions.
Is it worth doing at least 10 sessions and if so, in what time intervals?
Is it better to have one session a month, or once a week for 10 weeks?
Or maybe 10 sessions in the shortest possible time?
If you are facing a health challenge, it is best to follow the daily protocol with a two-day break. In two weeks, you are able to do 10 sessions, and it will give noticeable progression in your health. I often hear that it is a huge time burden. I’m aware of that, but it’s regularly a matter of priorities. We typically put our health on the back burner and prioritize so many things ahead of us, allowing our health to worsen or stay poor. Some conditions require advanced protocols like 40 Sessions, or even 80 Sessions when the serious issues occur, to help with the full potential of Hyperbaric Therapy. But even smaller amount of cumulative sessions help to build up and give some type of response.
We don’t have time to take care of our health, but when sickness comes, will you have time for it?
Isn’t it better to have taken care of your health in a first place?
What can you achieve in a few weeks of regular visits?
*Increased cellular energy
*Improved immune response
*Increased mitochondrial function
*Some decrease in inflammation, which will happen very quickly like in 2–3 sessions.
*Reduce stress. Stress is not only a feeling of nervousness, problems of everyday life with which we struggle, but stress is also how the body feels any disturbances in its functioning. Lack of sleep, absorption disorders, intestinal issues, skin rashes, pains of all kinds. All this is stress for our body, which it has to deal with on a daily basis.
*Pain reduction. Many studies have reported HBOT to produce a strong pain-relieving effect after just 5 to 10 sessions.
*HBOT’s effects on promoting new blood vessel formation (angiogenesis) can take place in just 10 to 20 sessions.
From our data, here is a general summary:
1–5 sessions: Improve cellular energy and during time, tissue functioning may be optimized. Those with residual carbon monoxide(i.e. smokers) or with anaemia can show immediate benefits with cellular energy. Inflammatory markers can go down considerably and mark the beginning of a natural repair process.
5–10 sessions: Typically used for acute injuries with soft tissue damage, particular if there is pain involved.
10-20 session: More serious acute injuries or chronic injuries
20–40 sessions: Commonly used for major tissue damages and when new tissue is required (through HBOT’s regenerative stem cell properties).
But most people need a long-term effect, so it is important to create “that dosage of boosting”.
This is how you can think about maintenance of the body.
10 sessions are the minimum to feel the benefits of HBOT longer. Three sessions in the first week, three sessions in the second and two sessions in the following weeks. Four weeks of taking care of the general condition of your body is a good plan for the next few months. It will give you a chance to support your body and will create a cumulative response for the real benefits of Hyperbaric to kick in.
Plan for three weeks. You can use four sessions in the first week, the same in the second week and two in week three.
From there if someone wants to do once a week or even once/twice a month then they could likely continue to maintain some of those benefits for a period of time.
It is extremely significant to understand the accumulation of these sessions in the shortest intervals.
In other cases, people take breaks, so they will do 10–20 hours as initial protocol to get those changes they’re looking for, and then let’s say two to three times a year do another 5-10–20 hours protocol if their health needs it. A big sum of hours in HBOT will create a big boost throughout the year. In my experience, I always recommend doing more of those lump sums at least twice a year with a few sessions in the interspersed. There is no research to support exactly which of this mechanism are the best, as far as the wellness type benefits. So when you do your initial protocol, give yourself a bit of time, try the maintenance plan and then see what is working best for you.
Isn’t it better to recharge your body sometimes so that it can continue to strive for Homeostasis, i.e. natural harmony, on its own?
On the plane before take-off, we hear that when the oxygen masks fall out, we should first put them on ourselves and then put them on the child. It is important to understand why.
To help and look after others we need to look after ourselves in the first place.
So, who will take care of you if you are not the priority for yourself?
